Grab your coat! Perhaps even bring along your beanie, scarf or gloves because the Winter Night Markets are emerging out of the cold. Everybody would agree that Melbourne’s winter is unsuspecting and quite simply harsh. But there is no point having the ‘winter blues’ as there are things to do and events to experience! Celebrate winter for what it is, and there is no better way to do this than experience some of Melbourne’s winter markets.

European Night Market
If winter brings back memories of walking through a majestic and thrilling European Night Market, then Madame Brussels Lane is where you need to be. Madame Brussels Lane will be transformed into an inviting and charming European Night Market, every Friday night for the next month (starting on the 18 July).
Inspired by the classic Christmas night markets in Manchester, guests can enjoy the soothing warm taste of mulled wine or indulge in a freshly baked pretzel. It wouldn’t be an European Night Market without German beer, with The Fringe offering a range of German beers whilst relaxing in their beer garden. If you have a soft spot for Italy, Babbo offers their weekly Friday night Aperitivo. Drinking Aperol spirtz and snacking on nibbles… is there a better way to celebrate the end of the working week?
Complementing each Friday night will be live music, entertainment and the opportunity to browse through a range of unique pop-up retail stores.
European Night Markets will be operating every Friday at Madame Brussels Lane from the July 18 to August 8. Start time is 4pm til late.
Madame Brussels Lane is located on the top end of Lonsdale Street, in-between Exhibition and Spring Street.
