With Spring entering our midst it’s time to throw those blankets to the side, put on your boots and get out into the fresh air. Mission presents this years Mexican Festival, held in Federation Square on the 15th of September from 10am-6pm. Some of our favourite Melbourne restaurants will be hosting stands, including Touch Hombre, Mamacita and of course – who could forget good old Taco Bill! The beautiful shores of River Terrace never seemed so appealing!
There’ll be plenty of entertainment with live music on the day and even a kiddies corner to keep the little ones busy. There’ll be Latin and traditional folkloric dance classes, pinata making and art exhibitions. Not enough to get you out of the house? What about the Mexican beers being served, creating the perfect, sun-filled location for a Sunday session? You know you want to.
So throw on your Mexican hats and grab some maracas in anticipation of a great day out!
Mission’s Mexican Festival will be held on Sunday 15 September, 10am – 6pm. It’s a free event.
