The traveller’s freedom machine. The impassable vehicle on an open road. Coming in at a top speed of 120km/h and armed with wooden furnishing, a portable toilet and the kitchen sink; the motorhome is the dreams of Nana and Pop. Typically fresh in retirement and coupled with the enthusiasm of a teenager, they are ripe and ready to set on a year voyage around the coast of Australia. While they relive their nostalgia feelings of when they were young, the motorhome may soon offer a less majestic feel with the Uber and AirBnB generation.
Yet, a motorhome may just work in a burger shop. Enter Motorhome Majestic, the latest burger joint opening by the multi-talented Josh Lefers. With already launching Grand Trailer Park in the CBD and Truck Stop Deluxe in Werribee, Motorhome Majestic takes on a similar format in the re-merging suburb of Ascot Vale. Taking over a once dilapidated bar, Motorhome Majestic set its sights high in creating a fun, exciting and perhaps a little nostalgia to the dining experience. Offering a strong selection of burger, ribs, mac n cheese balls, fries and shakes from the menu; the large space offers patrons to dine within the motorhome or kick back in the beer garden.
What’s hot on this menu? Hands down, must try the Kransky and meat patty burger – delicious and fatty all at the same time. A worthy mention is the dessert station to cool down with a delicious selection of ice-creams, waffles, doughnuts and cones.
