The sun is out, the mallet is in hand and vibrant tunes are playing in the background – it must be the Royal Croquet Club. The Royal Croquet Club is in full swing with fantastic beverage and food offerings, and is the perfect way to spend you time after the work day has concluded.
The food line up is pretty impressive. Broadsheet has played a fantastic role in securing high quality bites, and includes delicious lobster rolls from Mr Claws (who doesn’t love a lobster roll at the moment), sliders from Meat Mother, meat skewers from DOC and Asian delights from Miss Chu. A key favourite by many was dessert, with Messina offering their range of ‘soup can’ style gelato.
On the drinks front, its adequately covered to include local favorites beers and cider, wine provided by Yalumba, Pimms (need we say more) and other cocktail beverages.
As a picture tells a thousand words, we are going to stop right here. But, we will leave you with this little hot tip: The Royal Croquet Club Australian Day Weekender is set to be a ripper with live performances and DJ sets. The ground will be extended to include Miss Lees Laundry Bar and is expected to cater for 5,000 people.
Happy Australia Day!
