The Taste of Melbourne has kicked off once again on the lawns of Albert Park and we couldn’t be more excited with what’s on offer from the restaurant selection:
- champions of American BBQ in Melbourne, Fancy Hanks;
- art-worthy dessert specialists Om Nom;
- two hatted degustation wunderkinds Lûmé;
- Melbourne’s premier gastronomical Grecian temple,
- Gazi and Peruvian Street food and ceviche maestros,
- Marea Cevicheria presented by Pastuso.
They join Taste’s already tantalising formation of announced restaurants including Hotel Jesus, Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie, Cumulus Inc., Estelle Bistro, Supernormal, MoVida, The Royal Mail Hotel, Mamasita and Circa, The Prince.
This year, Taste is boasting over 50% of its line up is new, with cutting edge virtual reality dining experience from Lume. See the kitchen through the eyes of a chef; smell the sweet, citrus-y fresh air of a Yarra Valley orchard; and feel the breeze brush past your cheeks as you’re whisked back to reality – amidst a bustling restaurant service. All for $45!
Other delicious, noteworthy menu items includes Om Nom’s Rosemary & Chocolate Cigars, Cumulus Inc.’s Lamb Shoulder, Fancy Hank’s Wood Smoked Pastrami.
As always, Taste brings us amazing attractions and entertainment including the Nepenthe Wines’ Music Hub, Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets, Rosso Roasting Co. Coffee Masterclasses, interactive Table Talks and a whole host of alfresco pop-up bars. Taste of a Melbourne runs from tonight through to Sunday 14 November 2016 and general admission tickets start from $45.
