Taste of Melbourne – In Pictures

Today is the last day of Taste of Melbourne 2016. This year has seen a different direction from previous years’ with a defined focus of wine and beverages from various regions of Australia. With that said, it would be amiss of us to not mention about the food; with plenty of dishes to satisfy any taste buds. The Modern Con’s favourite and in demand dish was Om Nom’s Rosemary and Chocolate Cigars ($10) that offered a fantastic playful charm of a dessert cigar while being a solid dessert. A worthy contender that others may have not considered was the Chickpea fries ($6) & Pork Brioche ($8) from Estelle Bistro – hitting the spot as a duo combination.

So get the taste-buds fired up and head down to Albert Park for the final instalment, or else, it will have to be another year before the opportunity knocks again. Taste of Melbourne is the ideal opportunity to experience a delightful and diverse selection of the very best of Melbourne’s restaurants in one easy location.
